Our Story

The KENxKEIM tee refines old tradition. Guided by fashion stylist and founder, Katie Keim, to merge the sustainable fabric of hemp with an updated cut of the classic t-shirt, creating the OG KEN Tee.

In the summer of 2020, Katie started working with her grandfather, “Pop Pop,” on his farm in New Jersey. Pop Pop, a lifelong farmer, taught Katie how to farm and utilize the earth. As Katie worked closely with her Pop Pop, she embraced his purposeful and frugal nature.

Katie’s ability to present people in their best light begins with her knowledge of fabrics. The grandfather-granddaughter duo started to grow hemp to promote Katie’s vision for a luxury t-shirt brand.

KENxKEIM is named after Katie’s father and brother who share the name “Ken.” It was decided that the company would be called KENxKEIM to embrace the continued legacy of the family name.

KENxKEIM constructs each KEN Tee in New York City. Each tee is handmade and doted over before being sent mindfully to your door with a minimal amount of packaging, all recycled of course :)
